22 May @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The SinaiFree Film Society will discuss “Armageddon Time.”

In this semi-autobiographical film, director James Gray tells the coming-of-age story of an 11-year-old in Queens during the 1980s.  It depicts a Jewish boy’s struggle with family expectations while growing up in a world of privilege, inequality and prejudice.

The film can be streamed on Peacock (subscription). It can be rented for $3.99 on Apple TV, Amazon, Google Play, YouTube, and Fandango At Home; and $4.99 on Spectrum. There are 13 DVDs in the Westchester Library System, and 26 DVDs in the New York Public Library.
