The Cocoon of Grief
We mourn from within the warm protective glow of family love and friendship. Outside that bubble, storm clouds gather. Hearts harden and harsh fears threaten to shatter hopes and dreams that only recently seemed within reach. The Kabbalistic journey is one of shattering, repair, and renewal.
The chrysalis is nature’s triumphant example of reincarnation. Our souls dissolve and mingle in a cocoon of grief, exchanging light, dreams, hope. Given time and inner warmth, a new butterfly emerges to unfurl wings of refracted light and color.
How can we create cocoons of spiritual exchange and protection in a fragmented world, so that new light may take flight and form?
