With the shortening of the days, our spirits turn from the intensity of summer light to deepening contemplation of winter darkness.   We repeat cycles that governed the lives of our ancestors and of the natural world.  Inextricably linked to the cosmos, we embrace heaven and earth, light and darkness, life and death.  Our spirits and gardens together celebrate the coming of autumn color as we emotionally and psychologically prepare for winter ahead.
